Cap your motors

To reduce motor noise, remember to also install caps on your motors like so:

1) Use ceramic cap(s) between terminals.  Use ceramic cap. Not polarized.
2) Solder another 0.1uF cap between each motor lead and the motor case.
3) Twist motor leads.  Optionally, also install a ferrite bead over twisted leads close to motor and shrink.
4) Use “bypass capacitors” near any electronics you want to isolate from noise.  Rated at least twice supply voltage connected between V+ and GND.
